Warwick - Members of the various chambers of commerce and business people recently formed the Town of Warwick Marketing Group to help market all the local businesses located within the Town of Warwick’s hamlets and villages. “There are businesses in these communities that no one ever heard of — not just retail, but artisans, craftsmen, service organizations, builders, professionals,” said Peter Groenendaal, director of the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce who put the initial meeting together. “We need to publicize these people. Collectively, united, we can all do a better job of marketing ourselves.” Also participating in the Town of Warwick Marketing Group are: Ann Chaimowltz, representing the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce; Leo Kaytes of Leo Kaytes Ford; Tom Nash, president of Provident Bank; James Mezzetti, president of the Florida Chamber of Commerce; Cheetah Haysom, president of the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce; Joyce Groenendaal, former secretary, Pine Island Chamber; Alena Sweet of the Greenwood Lake and West Milford News; and Bill Schultz of the Florida Chamber. The group would seek sponsorship from the Warwick Partnership for a quality community.
