Local blood donors needed

    Warwick - St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick, New York is asking the community to make a difference at the beginning of the summer season, by donating blood and giving the “gift of life.” The hospital, working with Community Blood Services, has scheduled a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at the new blood collection facility at Mount Alverno Center, 20 Grand Ave., Warwick. All potential donors must be between the ages of 17 and 70 and weigh over 110 lbs. Donors may donate blood every 56 days and should eat a good meal prior to donating. Bring appropriate ID.
