Library to host forum on hypnosis

    Warwick — The Albert Wisner Public Library will present “Hypnosis: Unlock the Power of Your Mind to Achieve Your Goals and Transform Your Life” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20. Arlene Prince, a certified hypnotherapist, will explain what hypnosis involves, how it works, how it can be used, and what to expect from a hypnosis session. Hypnosis has been used to help change unwanted habits of thought, feeling and behavior, and individuals have used it to enhance careers, health, sports achievement, and academics. Prince teaches and lectures in hospitals, medical practices, seminar centers, and colleges. She completed advanced training in mind/body medicine at Harvard Medical School, and studied peak performance enhancement through Harvard. She has advanced certification in holistic hypnosis and past-life regression therapy with Brian Weiss, M.D. She maintains a private practice in Warwick. To register, call 986-1047.
