Library offers small business program on Feb. 12

    Warwick - Albert Wisner Public Library will host a program Monday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. specifically tailored to meet the needs of small business owners. Presented by Peter Lyons Hall, the program is called “Six Do-It-Yourself Techniques to Promote Your Business and Get Results.” If you are to busy working to plan marketing strategy, what can you do? If your resources are restricted but you have the ability to think like your best customers, there are six key things that you should be doing. Come to this program, invest 60 minutes, ask questions and get some real answers. Hall is a Warwick resident and creative director for Business Demographics Inc. (www.bzdata.org), a marketing consulting firm he founded in 1996. He helps organizations grow by improving their visibility through Web site design, traditional print media and other marketing solutions. In 2003 he and his wife, Sondra, introduced a Web-based directory for the Warwick Valley. Called Warwickinfo.net, (www.warwickinfo.net) designed to enhance the flow of information about businesses, activities and events taking place in the lower Hudson Valley communities of Warwick, Sugar Loaf and Vernon. He is active in a variety of community organizations and has been a frequent guest of Northeast Public radio WAMC and local radio and television programs. Registration is required for this program.
