Warwick- Friends of the Wisner Library will host their 2nd annual "Moonlight over Warwick Gala Dinner Dance and Silent Auction" on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Hickory Hill Golf Club. Last year's gala raised over $5,000 for the library's new building fund. Event organizers invite residents to an evening of dinner and dancing and to raise money for the Albert Wisner Public Library. For $50 a person, attendees can attend a cocktail hour, followed by a sit down dinner including a choice of stuffed chicken, prime rib, or flounder stuffed with crabmeat. Dinner also includes salad, vegetable, potato, rolls, open bar, coffee and dessert. Musical entertainment will be provided by "Loose Caboose." Besides dining and dancing attendees will have the opportunity to bid on donated items in a silent auction. The donations up for bid at last year's gala included antique dishware and silver, weekend getaways, art works, sky diving, signed books, jewelry and clothing, to name just a few of over 60 items featured and organizers promise that this years bid items will be even more tempting and diverse. Tickets are available at the library for $50 per person and $500 for a table of 10. For more information or to donate an item for bid call Sharon Scott at 987-8824 or Colleen Larsen at 9867-101.
