Library architect to show new building design on April 30
Warwick - The Board of Trustees of the Albert Wisner Public Library will hold a special meeting Monday, April 30, at 7 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall on Kings Highway when architect Paul Mays will present the design for the new building. Mays, of the Architectural firm of Butler Rowland Mays, as well as library staff and trustees will answer questions following the presentation. “We are very excited to embark on this phase of our design process as we move toward a much anticipated new library for the Warwick community,” said Library Director Rosemary Cooper. The public approved a referendum to fund a new library on March 8. At previous community meetings on the new building, residents expressed the desire for a space with light and openness to the outside environment as well a building that reflected the historical and agricultural heritage of the Warwick area.
