Leonard DeBuck: 'Most important words are thank you'

Warwick — During the Dec. 8 Warwick Town Board meeting, Councilman Leonard DeBuck recognized the many volunteers who have made improvements to the town’s parks with certificates of appreciation DeBuck, who is the town board’s parks liaison, began with parks in Greenwood Lake and worked his way toward home in Pine Island: Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park: Emilie Cozzi, Anahita Kopet and Roger Kopet. Cascade Lake Park: Daniel Decker, Thomas Keane, Bob Linguanti, Michael Rea, and Mike Rega. Pine Island Park: Will Brown, Andy Field, Marlene Caraballo, Percy Caraballo, Sondra Hall, Peter Hall, Jan Jansen, Mary Pohlman, and Paulette Wilk Rudy . DeBuck also thanked town DPW personnel Bill Roe, Mike Holt and Dave Rudy with letters of commendation. “It is really true that when good things go around,” DeBuck said, “good things come around.” DeBuck’s final meeting as a town board member will be Dec. 29. - Birgit Bogler
