Learn to tell toads from frogs at museum event terrific toads

The Museum of the Hudson Highlands presents “Toad-ally Terrific Toads!” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 16. Come take a close look at these lumpy, bumpy members of the amphibian family at the Museum’s Kenridge Farm location, Route 9W, Cornwall. Learn how to compare a living American Toad and a Green Frog while creating a “Toad Abode” to take home. Finish the morning with a walk in the wetlands to spot some amphibian friends and learn ways to protect wetland habitats. Recommended for children ages 8 and up. Cost $5; members $3.
