Latino business forum will be bilingual

    Newburgh — The Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Hudson Small Business Development Center will present a Mid-Hudson Latino Business Forum. The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, in the Community Room at the Newburgh Free Library at 124 Grand Street in Newburgh. Presented in both English and Spanish, the forum will provide business resources and information for Spanish-speaking individuals interested in starting or expanding a business. In addition to speakers from the Orange County Chamber and the Small Business Development Center, presenters will include representatives from: Internal Revenue Service; the New York State Department of Labor, Department of Taxation and Finance, Empire State Development Corp., and Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform; Orange County Literacy Volunteers; Orange County YWCA; Orange-Ulster BOCES; Procurement Technical Assistance Center; SCORE (Counselors to America’s Small Businesses); and U.S. Small Business Administration.
