Land Trust hosts volunteer orientation program July 26
Campbell Hall The Orange County Land Trust will be holding an orientation for new and existing volunteers with Land Trust’s Stewardship Program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at the Orange County Arboretum in Thomas Bull Memorial Park. The Land Trust has hired a director of stewardship with assistance from Orange County. With the new director, the Land Trust has expanded the Stewardship Program to help ensure individuals and families the opportunity to experience preserved properties. The orientation will provide information on how to participate in caring for these preserved lands while investing time in our future and community. Wide ranges of volunteer opportunities are available. For more information or to RSVP, please call Carissa Haberland, director of stewardship, 343-0840 or e-mail haberland@oclt.org.
