Warwick — On a freezing Saturday morning, Dec. 10, members of the Warwick valley Knights of Columbus Council 4952 assembled the creche for the annual Christmas nativity scene at St. Stephen’s Church. The creche, a three-dimensional nativity scene, is a depiction of the birth of Jesus as described in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. This creche, built by the Knights in 2001, will remain up throughout the Christmas season. The Warwick Valley Knights Council 4952 is celebrating its 52nd year in Warwick and support three parishes; St. Stephen’s in Warwick, St. Joseph’s in Florida and St. Stanislaus in Pine Island.
