K-9 teams take explosives course

    goshen—Ten K-9 police teams recently graduated from a 12-week explosives school conducted by the Orange County Sheriffs Office, including Orange County Deputy Edward Kania and K-9 Hunter. Nine members of the Metropolitan Transit Authority Police Department also completed the school. According to Orange County Sheriff Carl E. DuBois, the new graduates and their canine partners are an important part of the law enforcement community's efforts to combat terrorism.
