Jungle theme welcomes children

This new mural by Warwick artist and potter Marilyn Dale graces the entrance at Sick Sitters Center, a soon-to-be opened business providing day care for children who are unable to attend school or their regular day care due to minor illnesses. A barbecue, open house and ribbon cutting is set for Aug. 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. The public is invited. RSVP by Aug. 12 for the BBQ, so enough food will be available. Drop by during the open house to see the new facilities. Events will be held at 7 and 9 Grand St., Warwick.
