Judge Farina to be honored at reception

    Warwick — The Committee to Elect Judge Farina is hosting a cocktail party in honor of Judge Richard Farina, candidate for Orange County Court, at the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen on Thursday, Aug. 17, from 5:30-8 p.m. Tickets are $65. The Honorable Angelo J. Ingrassia, retired state Supreme Court justice, will deliver the keynote address. Farina, the former law secretary to Ingrassia, is the Village of Warwick Justice and has served in the city courts of Middletown, Newburgh, Yonkers, White Plains and Beacon. He has been an instructor for town and village justices for the past 30 years and was a director of the Magistrate Certification Programs from 1974 to 1999. He is also a past recipient of the Hon.
