John Buckley chosen Vocational Rotarian of Year

John Buckley, former Warwick Valley High School agriculture teacher and principal, was honored as Region 6 Rotarian of the Year for Vocational Achievements during Rotary District 7210’s Annual Conference at Hunter Mountain. Buckley was recognized for “outstanding dedication to the advancement of his profession as an opportunity to serve the community while encouraging the highest ethical standards in business practices. He was lauded for almost 40 years as a volunteer firefighter and for his extensive community service, including two terms as Rotary president and for being a member of the Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center Board of Directors.
