Horizon Medical to sponsor Wind Symphony's concert season

Goshen — Horizon Family Medical Center will sponsor the 22nd season of the Greater New York Wind Symphony as part of Horizon’s on-going support of the communities it serves. “We believe that the arts contribute to the overall health and well being of the region and we are proud to contribute to a program that encourages young people to develop their talents in these important areas,” said CEO James Olver. Founded in 1989, the Greater New York Wind Symphony is a non-profit organization of music educators and professional musicians whose mission is to perform world class wind ensemble literature for the Hudson Valley. The symphony has ongoing outreach programs for young musicians throughout the region. The program is supported by a grant from the Hudson Valley Performing Arts Foundation, a private non-profit organization that supports performing arts opportunities for young people.
