WARWICK - On Saturday, Oct. 14, the weather was picture perfect for the Warwick Valley High School’s annual Homecoming Day parade. And in the Homecoming football contest, the Warwick Wildcats trounced Hyde Park’s FDRs 26-0. Local and school officials served as judges as the classes paraded their creative floats, each with “The Magic of Disney” theme, past the Main Street reviewing stand. Although the judges admitted it was a hard decision, the junior class took first place with “Alice in Wonderland.” The senior’s “Peter Pan” placed second followed by third place sophomore float, “Aladdin,” and freshman float, “The Little Mermaid.”
