Historical Society to offer treasures for display at Christ Church Tea

    WARWICK - Decorator and Designer Marina Alario of Warwick will create the room centerpiece for Christ Church's upcoming Spring Tea to be held at the Parish Hall at 50 South Street, in Warwick Village on Saturday, May 1. Alario will prepare the exhibit with period items, featuring a colorful 1835 Staffordshire Tea service, which will be the centerpiece of her tea display for the event. The Warwick Historical Society has loaned the set for this occasion. Marina is well known in Warwick for her work as Assistant Curator of the Warwick Historical Society and as Vestry member of Christ Church, Warwick. She is the owner of The Red Shutters, a local decorating and design business. The May 1 Spring Tea will be offered in two seatings at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. A menu of traditional savories and sweets will be served. Live entertainment, a gift basket silent auction, and crafts and spring plants for purchase will round out the day's festivities. Tickets are $15 each and can be secured by calling the Christ Church May Tea.
