High school talent show looks to raise $5,000 for charities

Warwick - Auditions are complete and the line-up has been finalized: The Warwick Valley High School Talent Show is only a month away. The High School’s Interact Club, a charter youth organization of Rotary International, is looking forward to its largest annual fund raiser. This year’s line-up includes singing, Irish step dancing, hip hop dancing, salsa dancing, magic, rock bands, Broadway show tunes and some special guests. The show raises about $5,000 annually, all of which is donated to local, national, and international charities. Past recipients have included Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center, Baby Bookstart of Orange County, the Warwick Valley Humane Society, Joe Torre’s Safe At Home Foundation, the American Red Cross, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Doctors Without Borders and Rotary International’s Polio eradication program. The show is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
