High school referendum vote set for Wednesday

Warwick - Voters in the Warwick Valley and the Greenwood Lake School Districts will go to the polls Wednesday, Dec. 12, to decide whether students from Greenwood Lake will attend Warwick Valley High School beginning next year instead of George Baker High School in Tuxedo. The referendum asks voters in both districts whether Warwick Valley School District should enter into an agreement with the Greenwood Lake School District to have high school students from Greenwood Lake enter the Warwick Valley School District as tuition-paying students. In Warwick, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following locations: Pine Island Elementary School Kings Elementary School Dorothy C. Wilson Education Center in the Middle School Auditorium The polls in Greenwood Lake will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voting will take place at the Elementary School library, which is located at 80 Waterstone Road in Greenwood Lake.
