Heavy snowfall blankets Warwick area

On Saturday, Dec. 5, what the National Weather Service had predicted would be one to three inches of snow turned into as much as eight inches in the higher elevations surrounding Warwick. It wasn’t the first snowfall this year. An unseasonably early storm had surprised Warwick in October. But this one did usher in the winter season and gave promise that there might be a white Christmas just like last year.
