Heaven Hill Farm hosts free weekend holiday train rides for kids

Vernon, N.J. — Heaven Hill Farm is offering free holiday-style train rides for children every weekend in December from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Christmas Eve (special Christmas Eve hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Santa Claus also will be available from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 11, giving out complimentary candy canes and making himself available for keepsake photos with children of all ages. The aroma of warm cider donuts, holiday pies and cookies fill the air inside the farm market and gift shop. Seasonally festive funnel cakes and hot cocoa will be available at an outdoor concession stand on the weekends for all shoppers to enjoy. Trees are available as well.
