Halligan's Santa Run

| 29 Sep 2011 | 10:50

Once again this season, children enjoyed a visit with Santa, special gifts and a chicken nugget meal at Halligan’s second annual “Santa Run.” Halligan’s Public House co-owner John Kelly, a New York City firefighter, was recently diagnosed with a serious blood disorder requiring a special type of transfusion and today, Friday, Dec. 22, there is a blood drive that was organized for him at Raymond Hose Co. No. 2, 200 West St. Kelly, a husband and father of two, and a member of St. Stephen’s Parish, was involved in the 9-11 terrorist attack cleanup. Donors are asked to return the favor of his generosity by coming to the firehouse from 3:30-9 p.m. (Provided photo)
