Goshen police investigating death of Warwick man in hosptial

Goshen - Village of Goshen Police are investigating the death of a patient in a third-floor bathroom at Orange Regional Medical Center’s Arden Hill campus in Goshen. Daniel Costello, 37, of 12 Wawayanda Road, Warwick, was found dead at 4:20 p.m. on Monday, March 6, in the bathroom of his room. Resuscitative efforts were started by ORMC staff but were unsuccessful. Police said Costello had been admitted to the hospital for stomach pain and a possible pancreatic infection. He was pronounced dead by coroner Joseph Horan at 4:45 p.m. on March 6. An autopsy was performed that night and the investigation is continuing, pending the results of toxicological examinations.
