Giving feels good

The children and staff at Everything Grows Childcare and Learning Center donated turkeys, canned goods, sweets and other food for three needy families in the area for Thanksgiving. For the Christmas holiday, the families, staff and children also donated gifts for two families. “During circle time, teachers discussed the importance of helping others that are less fortunate than us,” said owner Charisse Canterino. “One of the most important things we can teach our children is the act of helping others.” Everything Grows is a licensed and accredited center with an additional site opening in Middletown in the fall.
