Girls Scouts and YWCA offer tribute to Women of Achievement'
New Windsor For 14 years, the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council and YWCA of Orange County have honored women in Orange County who have made a difference to the community in their professional lives, personally, or through school activities. This year the 2006 Tribute to Women of Achievement of Orange County will be held on Wednesday, May 10, at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor. Christine Krahulik (professions category) from Orange County Family Court. Judy Lekoski-Eurich (communications) from Sullivan County Community College. Beth Quinn (communications) from the Times Herald-Record. Jessica Ruggles (young woman category) from Middletown High School. Heather Van Dam (arts) from Monarch Productions. Chiropractor Margaret Verhagen (healthcare category). The tribute is a fundraiser for YWCA of Orange County and Sarah Wells Girls Scout Council.
