Girl Scouts helping babies
Girl Scout Troops 197 & 361 from Warwick are putting together diaper bags filled with essential baby items to send down south to help out families. Now through Oct, 8, the scouts are collecting diapers, wipes, ointment, formula, baby bottles and new or gently used onesies and diaper bags. They plan on filling diaper bags with the donations to send down to help out the littlest ones (and their parents) left devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Drop-off boxes can be found at Sanfordville School, Park Avenue School, Kings School, Pine Island School, St.Stephen's Church, Toy Chest on Main Street, the Warwick Post Office and Bink on Railroad Avenue. If you have any questions, please call Jeanne or Katie O'Reilly at 986-9975 or Anna or Justine Thomas at 988-9383.
