Girl Scouts and golf go together perfectly

    Monroe — Spring has sprung! The sun is shining! Golf courses are opening! If there ever was a truly enjoyable way to raise money for Girl Scouts, it is at the annual Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council Golf Outing, being held on Monday, May 21, at The Golf Club of Mansion Ridge, Monroe. The fundraising event is open to all Girl Scout supporters and will benefit Girl Scouting in the local community. Individual player registration is $150,including greens fees, cart, continental breakfast, gourmet lunch, refreshments, prizes and a Hole-In-One Contest. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 18-hole shotgun start at 9 a.m.. Lunch and awards ceremony will follow at the conclusion of the day on the course. Corporate sponsorship opportunities and advertising journal marketing are available for interested individuals and businesses. Donations of prizes and goody bag items are also being sought.
