Fundraisers form new chapter
Goshen For more than 40 fundraising professionals, representing not-for-profit charitable organizations from the Mid-Hudson Valley, all roads led to Goshen. The historic Harness Racing Museum provided the setting for the formal establishment of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ newest chapter, the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter. Following the luncheon, officers for the newly founded chapter were elected. They are: President: Eric G. Heffler, C.F.R.E., president of Certified Charitable Fundraising Counsel. President-elect: Robert J. DeValentino, president of Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation. 1st Vice President: Kathleen R. Webber, vice president of marketing and development at Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties. 2nd Vice President: Jeffrey A. Kassover, C.F.R.E., director of development at Jawanio. Treasurer: Sally J. Cross, director of development at SUNY New Paltz. Secretary: John C. Checklick, president and CPO of Orange County United Way.
