From Florida, with honor

S.S. Seward Institute senior Alex Arzoumanov was the honored guest at a social hour last Saturday at the Florida Public Library, where the Boys’ Nation president, student council president and part-time page at the library was recognized by Library Board President Marie Pillmeier, Orange County Legislator Michael Pillmeier and Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton (pictured with Arzoumanov). The program ended with a few brief remarks by Sergi Arzoumanov, Alex’s father, who thanked the library Board of Trustees and the entire Village of Florida community for accepting his family so warmly when they arrived in this area after leaving Russia when Alex was about two years old.
