Four injured in Pulaski Highway accident
Four people were injured Monday just before 7 p.m. when a pick-up truck, turning left onto Pulaski Highway in Goshen, pulled into the roadway and collided with a Jeep. According to the state police in Monroe, Michael Burris of Goshen and his three children were leaving their driveway and turning left onto Pulaski Highway, near Big Island Road. The pick-up truck hit a Jeep, which was traveling southbound. The driver of the Jeep, a woman whom police did not identify, was transported by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center after complaining of chest pains. The three children were taken to St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick with minor injuries. Burris was not injured. The accident is still under investigation. (Photos by Thom Cronin)
