Four charged in burglary spree from Wallkill to Warwick

    Middletown - State Police in Middletown arrested four people this week in connection with a rash of burglaries in western Orange County, which includes the towns of Wallkill, Minisink, Greenville, Deerpark and Warwick. During the past two months, State Police have investigated numerous daytime burglaries in which jewelry, laptop computers and flat screen televisions were taken. Three individuals - Edward Sheskier , 31, of Middletown, Danielle Winter , 36, of Port Jervis and Thomas DeGroat, 23, of Middletown - where charged with numerous counts of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and criminal possession of stolen property. A fourth suspect, David Cole, 46, of Port Jervis, was charged of criminal possession of stolen property. The subjects have also been linked to burglaries in Ulster County and in Pike County, Pa, according to the State Police report posted its Web site (www.nyspnews.com/index.cfm). Charges in those jurisdictions are pending. The State Police in Middletown were assisted by detectives with the Town of Warwick and Town of Deerpark police departments.
