Warwick — Claudia Prenatt, a former student of Promise Kids Preschool returned with her mom, Adrian, to tell the preschoolers about Juvenile Diabetes. They read a story about a little boy who was diagnosed with the disease after being hospitalized. She told the class of the changes in her life due to the diabetes. She also tested the teacher’s blood sugar level showing the class what she has to do every day. In the days following, the children raised money for the cause by collecting pledges for running laps around cones set up at the school. The children raised $151 for the cause.
