Florida Public Library public hearing set for May 2

    FLORIDA-The Florida Public Library will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2005-2006 budget on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at the library, 4 Cohen Circle, Florida. The regular monthly board of trustees meeting will follow. The public will vote on the proposed library budget, which totals $339,977 and includes a tax levy proposition of $267,077, on the May 17 ballot. Estimated tax rates per $1,000 of assessed value for library support are $.83 for the Town of Goshen (an increase of six cents) and $3.53 for the Town of Warwick (an increase of 23 cents.)
