Florida - The Village of Florida Police will again participate in the statewide “Buckle Up New York Campaign,” using a grant from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee to enforce seat belt use by both drivers and passengers. The enforcement period will cover from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of next year, and will include what Patrolman John M. Carr described as two enforcement waves on Nov. 13-26 and May 21 through June 3, 2007. “We would like to remind all your readers to remember, Carr said in a press release, “click it or ticket.”
