Florida chamber holds political forum Sunday

Florida - The Village of Florida Chamber of Commerce will host an informal political forum this Sunday, March 12, at the Seward Senior Center on Cohen Circle. Chamber President Jim Mezzetti said the four candidates running for office in the village will answer any and all questions from the public in attendance concerning their platforms. Mezzetti will serve as moderator. While Trustees Thomas Fuller and Thomas Chevrier face no opposition in their bids for reelection on March 21, Mayor James Pawliczek faces a challenge from Edward Mythen. The chamber’s forum starts at 2 p.m.; light refreshments will be served.
