The original painting of Monell Engine Co. of Washingtonville by the late artist Jarvis Boone will be on display through January 2007 at the new Orange County Firefighters’ Museum, which opened Sept. 9 at 141 Clinton St. in Montgomery. The 18” x 24” original acrylic on canvas shows the engine company’s response to a fire from the old Main Street building, which currently serves as the village police headquarters. The original is available for purchase; framed and unframed prints are available from Bethlehem Art Gallery in Salisbury Mills (845-496-4785). For information about the museum, call 845-457-9645.
