Warwick - Finally, after a difficult winter, spring has arrived. Not only are the apple trees in full bloom, the fields are showing green for lettuce and spinach. The grass is nutritious for the cattle. Herbs, bedding plants are ready for planting. You can smell the bread and pastries being baked - and that pesto.... And all of it can be washed down with wonderful wines. The Warwick Valley Farmers’ Market opens Sunday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the South Street parking lot with music and the Duck Derby.
