Elant at Goshen partners with leading orthopedic doctor

    Partnership with Dr. Eric Martin will enhance orthopedic care for Elant residents GOSHEN — Elant at Goshen announced last week that it has partnered with Dr. Eric L. Martin of Catskill Orange Orthopaedics to enhance its orthopedic care services. Martin will provide additional care to patients who have been admitted to Elant at Goshen following an orthopedic surgery, or who have an orthopedic related diagnosis. He also will provide education on orthopedic care to the Elant at Goshen clinical staff and will assist with clinical protocols to care for patients with an orthopedic diagnosis. Martin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic residency through Stony Brook University Hospital, as well as a fellowship in reconstructive joint surgery at Rush Presbyterian University/St. Luke’s Presbyterian Medical Center. He is chair of the Orthopedics Department at Orange Regional Medical Center. About Elant Elant was founded in 1985 in Goshen as a 120-bed not-for-profit, community-based nursing home. Elant offers seven locations, as well as in-home and day treatment programs, throughout the region. It offers a broad spectrum of services that provides for the needs of more than 3,500 people.
