Duck Derby scheduled this weekend

Hundreds are expected to crowd the banks of Wawayanda Creek in the Village of Warwick this Sunday, May 21, to cheer for their “adopted” rubber ducks as part of the 16th annual Duck Derby. The race begins at 1:30 p.m. and the first of 10 prizes is $1,000 The event is held each year to benefit Winslow Therapeutic Center. Duck tickets can be purchased up to 1 p.m. Sunday. The weekend’s festivities will begin Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. with a “Faux Duck” (chicken) dinner and concert at the Village Railroad Green Park. All are invited.
