WARWICK—On Thursday, Nov. 3, the Parish Nurse Program at St. Stephen Parish, in collaboration with St. Anthony Community Hospital, will offer the first in a series of educational lectures entitled “Dinner with the Doctor.” The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Monsignor O’Connor Hall at St. Stephen’s School on Sanfordville Road in Warwick. The educational series, described as an informal and informational gathering, is intended to provide information on health issues. The idea behind the dinner series is to answer the questions so many leave the doctor’s office with. For the first dinner, guest lecturer Dr. Rachel Colvin, D.O., will answer questions regarding diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease and dialysis treatments, and options. Dinner will be provided courtesy of the makers of Avapro, Avalide, Ambien CR, Lipitor and Plavix. For reservations, or to learn more about the Parish Nurse Program, call 987-5500.
