Dedicated service award winners named
Warwick Fred Bohn, a nuclear medical technician for St. Anthony Community Hospital, and George Tiedemann, manager, facilities maintenance for Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center, were the recipients of the 2007 Bon Secours Dedicated Service Award. Thomas Brunelle, executive vice president and administrator for New York, named Bohn and Tiedemann among the eight campus employees nominated by their peers to receive the award. Each year the award is delivered to those employees who demonstrate a strong commitment to the Bon Secours values of justice; respect; dignity; integrity; and quality and compassion, among many other qualities. “We congratulate Fred Bohn and George Tiedemann, and we thank them for their years of dedication and hard work on behalf of our patients, residents and community,” Brunelle said. “They represent the best in all of us and it is both a pleasure and an honor to work with them.” Bohn has been a member of the St. Anthony Community Hospital Radiology team for 38 years. During his tenure, he has served the department as a technician, as supervisor and as acting director. Tiedemann began his career in 1986 with Mount Alverno Center. During his 21 year tenure, Tiedemann has been instrumental in mentoring all new maintenance personnel as they began their assimilation into the group.
