I bring a desire to maintain and improve the quality of our Village. With my professional background, I bring experience in infrastructure, bidding, cost controls and negotiating. I also bring an energy and dedication to the position of Trustee. n What do you think is the most important issue facing the village right now? Why? A: The downtown is the heart of Warwick, but its viability is being tested by the difficult economy, changes in retail marketing, and the proposed development along Route. 94. Keeping our downtown healthy will preserve quality of life, as well as our tax base and property values. n Give three primary goals for your term of office on the Village Board. How do you intend to achieve them? A: 1. Develop a parking plan that will accommodate both businesses and customers. Reorganize the parking committee. 2. Minimize tax increases by prudent budgeting and searching for available funds to offset capital improvement projects. 3. Continue the accessible government that we now have, and expand the cooperation between the Town and all Villages. n What will you bring to the office of trustee that will make the Village of Warwick a better place in which to live and to do business? A: I bring a commitment to do what is in the very best interest of the Village. Commitment to improve the everyday running of the Village, and commitment to plan for a future that will continue to improve the quality of life for all. This will be done with fiscal responsibility.
