County seeks election inspectors

    Goshen — The Orange County Board of Elections is seeking to hire approximately 1,300 election inspectors to work the primary and general elections. Openings are currently available in all towns and cities across Orange County. To serve as an election inspector you must be an enrolled voter in either the Republican or Democratic Party, a resident of Orange County and able to clearly speak, read and write the English language. All inspectors are required to attend a mandatory twonhour training session. Training sessions begin in June. All inspectors are paid $175 for each election worked and are compensated for attending training.
