County schedules Nov. 29 meeting on farm worker housing grants

Pine Island - The Orange County Office of Community Development will hold an informational meeting on grants and loans available to farmers to upgrade existing or to construct new housing for farmworkers on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. In addition to community development officials, a representative from First Pioneer Farm Credit will be available to answer questions regarding additional funding. The meeting will take place at the Polish Legion of American Veterans Hall, Legion Road in Pine Island. For additional information, call Liz Dietz or Nick Ercoline at 291-2428.
