Consumer fraud briefing set for March 5 in Goshen

Goshen - A representative from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s office will be at the Orange County Government Center at Goshen on Wednesday, March 5, from noon to 3 p.m., to address individual consumer complaints and take questions from Orange County residents as part of the Attorney General’s state-wide Consumer Protection Week program. Mark Hoops, the attorney general’s senior consumer frauds representative from the Poughkeepsie Regional Office, will speak with consumers individually about the latest scams, fraud patterns, and answer any questions they might have. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. The event will be held at the Orange County Government Center, 255 Main St., Goshen.
