Concert to follow beach rededication

    Warwick - The public is invited to the rededication of the newly renovated Greenwood Lake Beach on Windermere Avenue as the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park on Friday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. A short ceremony and refreshments will be served, followed by the first Village of Greenwood Lake concert starring “The Magic Touch” from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.., according to information from Supervisor Michael P. Sweeton’s office. In other town news: • The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thursday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway. • Orange County, through a contract with Pestmaster Mosquito Management, will be placing larvicides in municipal catch basins during the month of June. Employees will have ID badges. • Sweeton offered his congratulations to Warwick In Bloom “for the beautiful flower pots placed out this past week in the Village of Warwick. These pots add to the beauty of the village and help attract shoppers from around the county who spend their money in our local shops. Keeping a vibrant shopping district benefits us all.”
