Warwick — On Nov. 29, state, local and business officials joined partners Laura Callaghan, Greyson Floss and Nicole Repose for the grand opening of Community Vision. “Community Vision,” Floss said, “is a company committed to promoting local sustainability throughout the Warwick Valley. The brochure we created allows local business a platform to showcase their diverse and unique products for fundraising.” The Community Vision program gives 20 per cent of the sale of products featured in the brochure to the fundraising organization. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held in the Chosun Taekwondo martial arts studio in the Village of Warwick. The Chosun Taekwondo Leadership Team is currently using the program to raise money for the Warwick Lions Club Holiday Party, which will help support underprivileged children in the local area during the holiday season. “The strong entrepreneurial spirit of Warwick,” said Callaghan, “has proven to be an excellent environment for a successful business to take root. A company like Community Vision is one of those businesses that is only beginning in Warwick.” There is a large number of organizations throughout the Warwick Valley that have fund raising needs to operate the programs and events they provide. Community Vision’s goal is to bridge the gap between the business community and those not for profits. The Fundraise Warwick brochure program offers these organizations the ability to fund raise with local businesses employing the same level of professionalism as a national fund-raising program. “When you fund raise local,” added Repose, “the money benefits and stays in our community.” Not-for-profit organizations that would like to participate should e-mail Greysonfloss@communityvision.co (CQ) or call 845-986-7557.
