Warwick - On Sept. 19, Colors Home, an interior design and retail boutique at 14 Railroad Ave., celebrated its grand opening. Owners and managers Christina Topaloglou and Susan Lovegreen plan to showcase designs by internationally recognized designers as well as the collections of established manufacturers. Additional services are provided in the store’s design studio and interior design lounge where an extensive library includes furnishings, accessories, lighting and art along with leather and textile items that are constantly updated according to the latest emerging styles in the market. “We present designs,” said Topaloglou, “in the context of a living room using an eclectic mix of furniture and unique design ideas.” Topaloglou, who lives in Warwick with her husband, Spiro Baltas, and their two children, Ioli, 12 and Yves, 8, is a longtime veteran in the design industry. In her role as a designer, Topaloglou operated a Manhattan retail store for eight years and was credited for introducing bright colored hand dyed Chesterfield sofas featured in many newspapers and magazines. She plans to continue traveling regularly throughout the United States and Europe to bring the most eclectic finds back to Colors Home. Susan Lovegreen, who lives in Warwick with her husband, Victor Sarmiento, and their children Ethan, 9, and Emma, 7, has always had a love for interior design and home décor. After many years of using her talent and love of style for the benefit of friends and family, Lovegreen decided to leave her medical career and focus on her passion. “Colors is a source of invention and ideas for people to redesign their homes in any style and any budget,” said Lovegreen.
