College to hold admissions open house

NEWBURGH —Mount Saint Mary College will hold an admissions open house at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. High school juniors and seniors, transfer students, and their parents will have a chance to meet faculty and administrators to discuss academic programs and career opportunities. The day’s activities will begin with welcoming remarks from Sr. Ann Sakac, the college president. Participants can tour the campus and attend sessions on financial aid, student life, Cooperative Education, and internships. The admissions office will receive applications. The Campus Store will be open. A sundae bar will end the day. The Mount offers more than 50 undergraduate programs in the divisions of arts and letters, business, education, mathematics and computer science, natural sciences, nursing, religious studies and philosophy, and social sciences. In addition, the Mount offers collaborative degree programs with other colleges and universities that lead to graduate degrees in counseling, optometry, podiatric medicine, publishing, physical therapy, social work, and speech-language pathology.
